Boat camper covers....HEEELLLPP

I have a 1986 Seaswirl Topaz 20' cuddy. I have the rear half of the camper cover, and am missing the front half and the bows. It is super expensive to get a new one made as they would have to build a full cover without the template.

Does anyone have any suggestions to get a new front cover. Maybe where do I get a template? The manufacturer does not seem to know. Any help is appreciated.

If it is NOT made on the boat you will hate it and it will never fit correctly

Tommays is right. If you can trailer it, take it to a marine canvas shop & they can custom make it for you.

I had one done for my 21ft Celebrity a couple of years ago made out of Sunbrella fabric for around 800 bucks. That was a bimini, back camper cover & 2 plastic side windows.

We have a "canvas shop on wheels" here in MD that came out & did it while it was on my lift - if you can't trailer it, maybe you can find a mobile shop out there.

Well thats the problem I was hopeing to work around. It is trailerable and I have had it in for an estimate, however, I have the back half to the top and I was told it would be nearly inpossable to build the bows and canvas to match up to the back without the template. Without the template they would have to make the whole front and back half which is around $1500. It would save me alot of money if I just had a template from the factory, but it seems as though I cant seem to find one.

Really hard to make bows to fit the top. They are always built the other way around.

I would say the chances of getting any "template" from the manufacturer for a 20 year old boat is slim. Even if you had identical bows to copy, it is toughtto do.
