Boat capacity plate

I have a 1985 Hydra Sport bass boat. I’m not sure what model it is, but where is the capacity plate located on these boats?

Supposed to be visible from the helm/drivers seat.
Could be anywhere, dash, side of console, either side inside gunnel.

Should also have a HIN on the back right hand side of the transom if the capacity plate is gone, then you can look it up to find out the specs on it.

I found the HIN. The boat does not have a capacity plate though. It’s a hydra sport and the company isn’t around anymore. How can I get a replacement capacity plate?

You should be able to verify the model by using one of the HIN number searches available on the net.

I would guess based on the boat, that you are looking at max 5 people and about 800 pounds. There is a guy on ebay that sells reproduction plates for the Hydra Sports boats that may be able to get you closer to what it is. Just do a google search for 1985 Hydra Sports VL-300 Capacity plate and a listing of his auctions should come up.
