This is what I did today to try & solve that problem.

Went to Wal Mart and bought 50' of rope.$3.50.

Two clip rings $1.60. ( To clip on the front cleats.)

2 18" bunji cords $1.50. ( To attatch to the u-bolts on transom.)

The first time I did something like this, I used a big pile of dead cats to hold the tarp up. :p

Kind of messy come spring time. :(

Looks like you done good.
Strap her down good so the wind don't flap the tarp around.

boatingfool likes it, and so does boatingfool :D

Yea, it will work nice for you in Texas.

But if that boat was up here with the set up the snow would wreak it, giving you a big mess.

Re: Boat cover puddling water??

boatingfool, I actually forgot that was you. I know I contributed to that one.

I've been getting cat emails and with the few cat posts around here lately, I guess I just had cats on the brain.

I no longer have a cat problem, I have a dog problem. In addition to the vicious one across the road, the neighbor to the south got a basset, and the neighbor to the north just moved in with 4, a lab-2 rotts-and a G dane. They steal clothes off the line, and anything that ain't bolted down in the yard. THey took one of my mud boots last week.

With all the barking and howling, I can no longer hear the coyotes at night. :(
