Trying to decide between a poly and a cotton cover. Looking at coversearch.com Anyone had any dealings with them? Don't need a towable cover, just something to keep the sun/rain out while on trailer. Any advise is appreciated. Thanks

Yooo gadoo,
Don't know how big your boat is but a got I one of those $90 store-bought ready-made covers for my 17' from Basspro and I'm happy as a pig in sunshine. Looks pretty good to.

c/6

hooty

a cotton cover is fine..Until it starts to mildew, then it rots. If you treat it yrly with a canvas water repellent (like for tents) it will last about 10yrs+. I have heard people using Thompson Water Seal to treat it also.
