Sounds like you want a bimini for the main cockpit and a cover behind the bimini that zips into it to make it look like one long top.

The best bet will be to have them custom made by a canvas shop. In any case the rear will have to be custom made and the front will have to be one that already comes with zippers on it.

nope its not a bimini Im sorry I did a poor job describing it.
I have and open bow 17 footer. I have seen other open bows with a canvas looking cover that comes in two pieces. They snap onto snaps already in place on the boat. Its a storage cover but you can run it with the bow still covered. Ill try to find a picture.

Re: boat cover?

Isn't that a mooring cover? The bow piece would be simply a bow cover and the other a cockpit cover I think.

they are called Mooring covers, and unless you get one with the boat, when bought, they will have to be custom made. there are no standard covers like that.

Re: boat cover?

you will have to take the boat to a canvass shop, talk to the marine stores and see who the recommend. as i said it is a custom job. if your boat is 1 or 2 years old you might get lucky, by contacting the Manufacturer, who just might have one still on the shelf, but don't count on it. and then you will have to install the hardware (snaps, and clips) look to spend $700 -1000.
