hey guys just bought my first crusier 265 fiesta vee rinker 1995 it has the big block and a bravo 3 leg my wife and I love camping on it we have over 1000 miles of lake shore out our back door I am in the process of stripping all the graphics and decals off I was talking to a guy in a fourm about ordering new decals from rinker (they are still availible) but very expensive he advised me not to order the decals because the would be 18 years old and in his experiense would not hold up I would be better off getting new ones made up as close to original colors as I can it is also alot more affordable do any of you have an opinion one way or the other? thanks ps new to fourm hope its ok to post here

Re: boat decals

Welcome aboard.

Check Rinker's price. I can't imagine they've got an inventory of old decals around - especially not sitting for 20 years. They've got a way to output them. That said - vinyl on a shelf will last a LOOOOOOOONNNNNNGGGGGG time.

Check the local sign shop too, and go with the cheaper. Just make sure the sign shop is selling you UV rated vinyls.
