Re: boat disposal

I have an uncle who had the same problem.
he put it by the road and put a sign on it
Boat 50$ it was in bad shape!
He had 3 people stop in about an hour and one guy came back with the money. My uncle sold it in less than a day!

I don't know about over there, but here all we have to do is section it into 4 pieces and drop it off, no charge. It is easier to set it out and put a "Free Boat" sign.

Re: boat disposal

there are plenty of charity organizations out there that will take it as a donation. they turn it around and sell it when possible, and you get a tax write-off. plus you did something good.

Re: boat disposal

You would be amazed at how many people would take it of your hands with just a little advertizing.

Yeah It seems to me if you put a sign on it free or what not someone will take it "One man's trash is another man's treasure" ;)
