Hello,<br />I'm new here but not to boating, I really enjoy the iboats forum. <br />A female friend of mine told me of her boating experience. A friend of ours asked her to go out on his ski boat with him. After riding around awhile they stopped. When the guy tried to start the engine( 302 ford, mercruiser) it backfired and caught the carburator on fire. She said he didn't have a fire extingisher, beach towel, cup to dip water, nothing. So, he pulls off his trunks and beats the fire out in the nude. She said its good he got the fire put out because she was laughing so hard there is no way she could of swam.
