Alright I'm almost ready to split the Hull all I have to do is make the cut in back. Any last advise?

Idk if that was a cut or just cracking and a poor fix....hard to tell from the pic... Are you going to pull the entire cap or just cut the rear of the cap to get to your transom?

Take some pics of the Rear of the boat, Looking down on the transom and from the backside looking at the transom. Send em to me and I'll post em for you.

Yes I was going to take the whole Hull apart. N I thought a crack at first too. But it goes all the way accross and up the other side evenly. Ill get pics for you.

Alright I sent some pics to be posted. Thanks for doing that for me. I sent on of the other side where you can see where it looks like its been cut. They didn't cut into the transom just the top Hull so they could split it. I have no clue if this is the right way or not. Maybe they just didn't want to take the motor off lol. But I'm going to make this cut and the Hull should be ready to come apart. But

Denning, what you are looking at is a broken top piece, I have the same boat with the same crack in the transom. see pictures. If I am not mistaken the piece you want to cut to split the hull is under, top center about 12 in long, going by memory here. Mine is broken already. I will take picture and post it.

So I don't need to cut around there? I have to take the motor off? In ready to split the Hull I just need the last step on how to split the back.

Laying on your back, on the inside, using a sawzall you will need to cut into the transom and angle up along the outer edge of the outer skin. It is glassed to the transom. Some people do it from the outside and just slice it down and then repair it later. Yes, You need to take the motor off.

Alright and then how do I repair the cut after? And how far down from the top of the transom should I cut?
