Re: Boat getting Upholstered

Interior looks great!

That is the exact layout I want to put in mine, once I get past the structural rebuild...

I think I may have to save these pics for future reference ;)

Re: Boat getting Upholstered

Thanks guys for the compliments. One thing I will say is make sure you get a couple estimates if you are not going to do the upholstery yourself. I got two estimates which were rediculiously out there. The third estimate I got was right on. The upholstery guy said he would charge $1500.00 more than I was charged for this work. Measure,Measure,Measure. I measured and ordered seats online expecting to re-make seat boxes. Nothing fit. Every piece of wood had to be custom made and fitted. The online seats I bought were a different color, because I wanted to change the theme. Once we started to look at the whole picture it was evident that ordering vinyl and foam was easier than trying to fit premade seats in this boat. I wasted over $600.00 on seats that I cant use. I have since let them go to someone who could use them. Live and Learn...

your upholstry guy did an awesome job! When it comes to the cost of owning a boat, the phrase "its a hole in the water that one contiually dumps money into" isnt that far from the truth at one point or another".

Grats on completion of your project
