I have a 2008 Mercury 50 hp 2 stroke three cylinder outboard. The other weekend, I was charging my battery on a engine boost charge. I wasn’t paying attention and cranked my boat and let it run. Well, my battery has been charging for twenty minutes at this point. I walk inside to grab my sweet tea and come outside and the battery is smoking. I run and cut the boat off with the key. When I try to restart it, it has no fire. I concluded that by pulling the plugs and looking. I’ve checked the battery it’s okay. All my electronics work, I just have no spark. I’m thinking it’s the power pack but at this point I’m so frustrated and lost. any help would be appreciated
