All, looking at a new 1860 mv SeaArk CC. I see on the website it is rated at 60/80 hp. Is that a prop/jet rating? What does that mean. I believe this particular one has a .100" hull.

Also, if anyone has a connection for backhauling from Penn. to CA that would be great. No SeaArk dealers in CA so I am SOL.

Thanks,

Rob

It looks like the 60 is a jet since the actual engine would be a 90 horse, I have seen an 80 horse jet but it is based on a 115 so it is probably a weight thing.

Why don't you just call SeaArk and get a definitive answer? They might be able to give you some thoughts regarding transport as well. Also, I know several iboaters have used a particular shipping service and been pleased with the cost and results. Unfortunately I can't recall the name, but a keyword search should pull it up. Good luck. Those are great boats.
