Boat hull sitting on boat hoist bunks

Is it OK for the boat guides? (the molded strips that stick out on the hull that run a good length of the boat) to sit right on top of a bunk on a boat hoist? I don't think one bunk is adjusted correctly so on one side of the hull, a guide is sitting right on the hoist bunk.

Ayuh,... Usually they're set to be Side by Side, not 1 atop another...

What you are describing are planing strakes and they should definitely not be on the bunks. There have been a lot of reports of not solidly filled strakes that deform. Move the bunks!!!
