I am always ground running Mercruiser engines and I am always rigging up wires for gauges and looking for my push button starter etc. The other day while doing some electrical work on a buddy's boat (gauges wouldn't work)and got to thinking about how nice it would be to just unplug his engine and plug it into a box and would tell me whats working and whats not. So today at work I was bored and decided to make one.

I had a set of gauges and a wiring harness and this is what I came up with. The cover flips up so I can change the tach for different engines when I need to. I have inline fuses underneath to avoid any damage or shorts and I can run the starter with the ignition off for different trouble shooting.
