Boat Info The Library - Issue Opening Manuals

I have been trying to open one of the manuals on Boat Info. I keep getting a message that it requires Flashplayer 9 or newer. I have the latest version installed. Any idea what is happening? Anybody having the same problem.

Are you clicking on the Allow FlashPlayer button? There are only 9 days of support left for Flashplayer.

if youre trying to open it from a computer, you need to press the "allow adobe flash" button that pops up. if your opening it from a phone, it may not open. as GA stated, only 9 days left for Flashplayer

I don't think websites using Flash will stop working. I mean if they haven't updated to a more secure method by now, they ain't gonna. Flash has been a hack path in the past and Adobe is crying uncle because better ways are available now and hasn't been part of new computer software for quite a while.

No luck. Flash is not turned off in either Chrome or Windows Edge although Windows Edge only allows you to set to ask first. Neither one work and give the same message about needing 9.0 or newer..

Ok, so I went back to an old computer (Windows XP) and was able to open the manual this time. There was no way on my newer machines using Windows Edge, Chrome, or Firefox to get it to open with all settings to allow Flash and adding the site to Trusted Sites for Flash.

Flash support will die at the end of the year. Browsers will disable Flash plugins on 1/21/21. Correcting my post #4.

Microsoft Edge wont open flash enabled PDF's anymore
Firefox will have a pop-up window for about 4 more weeks
