Re: Boat launches and timing!

I'm with Strokeoluck, I try to launch/retrieve when the ramps are least busy. That way, if something gets amiss, I'm not holding anyone up. Though, we have a pretty good system, take our time getting it right before we head for the ramp, and work efficiently at getting out of the way. I do need to train my wife to drive the boat and truck/trailer. She does a fine job when we are at sea. :D

Me and my grandpa usaully go fishing together and we take 10 minutes in the prep area(wich is just about any where since you'll be lucky to have another boat on the lake) and 10 minutes in the landing area. I would do it faster but don't want to push my grandpa. And we got a 14fter with just a trolling motor. i know that we are slow.
