Hello,
New here, great forum. I just bought a 1999 fisher avenger sport 16 ft with a 75 hp merc. I took it out to the lake today, to make sure it's safe before the family joins. Good thing I did!!
The boat looks great, and I've been thru the motor, it's in great shape and runs nice, the only problem is when I open the throttle (1/2)the boat leans to the left at a steep angle, and when I give it full throttle, the front of the boat turns to the right, very sharpley. The boat is not controllable at all. Also the steering wheel is about impossible to use, extremely stiff. I have made sure there is an even amount of weight in the boat, and there is no water entering the hull either.
The only way I can make the boat level is when I make a wide circle to the right.
I've called a couple of boat shops and they said they have never heard of this problem.
Any suggestions??
Thankyou
