Re: boat leans to the left. HELP!

I used to play a round with trim positions and intentionally try to put boats thru their paces. One thing I found, is if I "trimmed" all the way down, (moved the set pin) on an outboard, that the thrust was driving the bow down, and the torque from the prop would rotate the hull to almost capsize a 17' bowrider before I got scared and backed out of it. Trim up and save the fear from your passengers. ;)

Re: boat leans to the left. HELP!

sorry for sounding dumb, I just bought my first boat and know nothing about them or been on one till last week. my boat also leans to the left. anyways my question is what is a hydro foil and what is a trim tab. I am guessing the skeg is the lowest part below the prop that is vertical. sorry to jump out of line. just need help taking your advice
