Doesn't look like there's more suitable forum for dock issues but lmk if so. My lift is an air based system, two long cylinders/pontoons attached to metal frame. It struggles more and more each year, and even when the boat is completely lifted the pontoons are now 6" lower than they used to be and the prop is now coming very close to the roll door (enclosed dock) when lifted. Is there a repair that can be done rather than replacement? I've heard that deteriorating seals can cause that and that they can be replaced. Anyone have any experience with this?

If this is something like hydrohoist, sounds like you need a new blower motor. The blower is not putting out enough pressure to fully air it up, or the fan blades and housing has holes in it

It doesn't start dropping after it's up, right?
