Boat Manual Needed

I recently purchased a 1985 Venture Escapade fish/ski boat. I am looking for a manual for the boat only, not the motor. The boat is no longer made from what I understand.
Does anyone know a good source for old manuals? Thanks.

Most boat manufacturers never made manuals for the boats.

Most manufacturers did and still do print manuals for their boats. The unfortunate part is that they are very generic and just like the manual for your new car, 75% of the contents is safety and general boating stuff. Nothing in there about switches, wiring, or how the stuff works. They just include separate literature from the manufacturer of any accessories the boat has.

Silvertip, Thanks for your response. Sounds like I may be up a creek without a manual huh? I was hoping, like you mentioned, to learn something about the accessories etc. Thanks again.

The accessories on a boat are pretty simple. What don't you understand?
