Ok dude you took over the thread and now your talking in circles.

Per your last post-

Reread first comment makes no sense I say boat motors are in worse shape then car motors on avreage and you say there are car motors cheap everywhere???

My second quote you made- Yes I'm right You can find cheaper car motors

my Conclusion from this discussion

Yup, cam (not in all instances), brass freeze plugs, addition of marine intake exhaust manifolds, drain petcock to block, and T-stat housing, all different than cars...

boat/marine block and head castings.....SAME AS CAR/TRUCK

as far as wear and tear..........the verdict is still out.....

but leaning towards marine engines get more stress/loading and therefore more wear and tear per revolution .................
