I knew that quote right away, being I'm an Eddie Murphy fan.

My boat's name is "Divine Trash", now most people look at my 1959 Larson, and see that name prolly think its because its an old decent looking boat, but not so. As a kid, my handle on the CB radio, (everyone remeber those?), was Trashcan, and I had met my wife on the CB, her handle was Angel, been married 22 years now, she came up with the name.

I get alot of comments about it too :)

ARRRGGGHHHH!!!!

No that's not the name..but it should be!!

I thought that I settled on the name but just as I am about to go purchase decals...another comes to mind...influenced from my recent trip to the Grand Canyon.... how about

Kokopelli - some believed him the god of harvest and good weather...figure...I need all the good weather and good harvests I can get when I am lobstering and fishing!

Well..for now..she will be nameless...hopefully that wont bring me any bad luck.

-JustMrWill

Re: Boat Names

A few years back some buddies and I were cruising around Lake Cumberland and saw a massive houseboat in Jamestown. Couldn't tell you the length but it was a brand new triple decker. I got a chuckle when I saw the name. "Charge it to Daddy."

Re: Boat Names

I got the Eddy Murphy phrase. My favorite part of Delirious is "Now that's a fire!"...then again, GI Joe is swimmin on the water...duh duh duh duh duh, duh duh duh duh duh...and then a big brown shark came!"

Okay, that whole stand up routine is just funny as it gets!! "Bear and a rabbit were taking a $h!t in the woods..." (The clean joke for the kids)

Anyway, I recently named my boat Maxum-ummm Velocity. A friend of mine named hers IV Play because her son is John IV so she named it after him. She calls me on the radio "IV Play to Maxum-ummm Velocity"...gets a few laughs.

LOL. :)

Here in Sydney there are two Pitts Special aerobatic biplanes. One's call sign is VH-ARS, the other is -***. (VH is our country coding).
I've often wondered if they could fly one above the other is mirror formation and call themselves: "ARS over *** formation!"

Re: Boat Names

"At My Expense" reflect the personal struggle financially to keep my boat going, so that's how she is named.
