I was able to rule out a spun hub by making a scratch mark on the hub and prop and found through multiple trips on the pond that the hub and prop marks are still aligned- no slippage at all.
After further examination, running the boat on muffs, ive found that my prop wobbles quite a bit when in forward. Also, when in neutral, if I turn the flywheel, my prop will turn as well. The prop doesn’t feel “geared” in when this happens, as I can stop it from moving by holding it back with my foot, almost like there is some slight gearing pressure onto the prop.
