First scenario :
Boat was just released from general maintenance work and under going its first water test when fire caught slowly, a short circuit along fuel spill related issues.

Second scenario :
This moored boat was having severe water intrusion which owner though bilge pump could take care of while booking with marina to pull it out for a full pre summer maintenance. Bilge pump overheated due to extensive work and caught fire slowly, fuel vapors chimed in at the party and fire turned uncontrollable astonishingly fast.

These 2 case scenarios could have been avoided if counting on board with the right wrench tool to disconnect battery power off and fire extinguishers to put initial small fire out when initiated, Both rest now under 50 feet depth, to the displeasure of their respective owners have entered the total loss category as no insurance was available at the time of both events. Bad summer music !!
Happy Boating
