boat package price

does anyone know what the mark up is on boats,engines, trailiers etc.? is there something like kelly blue book that is used for new cars?<br />i paid $13,500 for an 04 almuacraft navigator 175 cs w/90hp merc, trailer, depthfinder, trolling motor etc. i am curious what the dealer actually apid for this package.<br />thanks-teamstromer-

ummm...does it matter? Are you happy with the dealer and the price you paid? Personally, it's none of my business what a store, dealer, etc. use as a margin. Mark-up is what pays employees, overhead, etc., and more importantly helps asure the dealer will be there in the future when you need him... And no I'm not a boat dealer! And I know I didn't answer your question, but this is kind of a touchy subject with me... happy boating

SW, i understand people need to stay in business. but like buying anything i want to know i didn't over pay. i am very happy with the deal and the boat package. <br />i buy a new truck every 2 years, 4 years ago i found out just how much i could have saved by researching.<br />2 trucks later i got good cheaper deals and the dealer is still in business.<br />the fishin is great in upstate ny.
