I'll have a problem with I believe is my boat planing too high. The boat nearly sits almost straight up in the water to where I have water coming in over the back Edge. The boat is a 20 foot Nitro bass boat with a 120 on the rear so I know I'm not overpowered I do have the motor raised up to the last notch on the transom so the motor is up high but that shouldn't make the boat go up as high as what I think is too high does anyone have any ideas as to why the boat is going up so high the boat is going up so high that when people see it they comment and it literally scares me.. iPhone a lot of boat and I've never seen one go this high

Are you trimming in as the boat gets on plane?

Your outboard should be trimmed totally in. Anything less than that and the bow will point to the sky trying to get on plane. 120 hp seems a bit small for a 20 foot rig. Wouldn't a 20 footer usually have a 150 - 200 hp ( or more ) outboard strapped to the back?
