Another question....are prices on boats seasonal...do dealers offer better prices in the off season, or do they remain consistent throughout the year?

aj, you'll find some long threads on this topic- try the search feature. i guess the rule of thumb is that you can get a boat cheaper in the fall, or end of season. since most people don't think about buying a boat to have it sit unused until the spring, demand goes down. sellers then lower the prices a bit to try and spark some sales. so right now, with the season quickly approaching, i'd think the prices are back up or getting ready to. sorry for that info if you're getting ready to buy.

There are deals on last years boats, maybe even a 2001 laying around, and 2001 and 2002 motors.
