First off i would lik to thank everyone for helping me in the past with issues of my motor. I have a 15 foot fiberglass 1979 sea-raider tri-hull with a 75 HP johnson (1961). My boat seems to go foward crooked when not on plane. I would say it is about 10-15 degrees off, bow tilts to the left. If i try to straighten the motor perpindiculair to the hull when cruising, which i would think that would make it go straight, however my seems to want to turn right. when my boat gets on plane it seems not to be an issue and then it goes perfectly straight. My concern is that I am not getting effecient thrust and or top speed. Thanks in advanced.

JD....put the engine on straight. The turn to the left is caused by the torque of the engine. Adjust the trim tab to the right to counteract the torque.

I think you misunderstood the comment. He is not talking about the trim and tilt feature of the motor. I believe he is referring to the adjustable skeg found just behind and above your propeller.

Mac

Is it possible you have water trapped in the sub floor?
