Kevoz,
Sorry to hear you are having engine problems. You have a very nice looking boat. I really like the pic's.
Keep them coming.

Sorry about the engine, but maybe this is a good time to put a v-8 in it? Heavy boat for a v-6. I THINK a 5.7/350 shares the same bolt pattern as a 4.3.
Jeebus! Dont let my son see this! He will want a 377 STROKER or some other mucho work combination. I have just about had a snoot full of boat building fun for the summer. I still have 2 motorcycle projects that I dont think I will ever finish due to other peeps projects taking first place, aargh! Does anyone here think that there is the remote chance that I might be able to get by with replacing the heads only. I know this is an unanswerable question, but, due to the fact I have seen no water in the oil and the fact that it really runs strong would anyone out there who has been in my shoes think that I could get by changing only the heads? I am still curious enough that I think now I will strip them off anyway and try to find replacements. I will post more in the engine help sections...anyway, I am no way a quitter, I will surely get the heads off and see what I can see..
cheers, :D

Oh, btw, thanks for the kind words on my work on the boat....as it is, things like this come semi easy for me, love doing this kind of work, the pay just sucks! hahaha

Finally got the heads off, both cracked as well as #1 cylinder water jacket, oh well, scraping together the credit cards and making phone calls, lol...
