Boat pushbutton remote - ideas wanted

Okay, this topic is just for fun.

I have a remote control that is a rudimentary car alarm, but also has outputs for controlling power windows and power locks. I got it with an electric lock kit a few years ago. I have two nice little keychain remotes for it. Range is about what you'd expect for electric locks and windows, IE less than about 30 yards.

I'm good enough with electronics to wire the outputs to do various things on my boat... hitting switches and the like.

But I can't think of anything really useful to remote control with it. I could do something like remote lights, remote horn, remote bilge pump, but I can't do something like steer the boat remotely or run the engine systems.

So what's something I could put on the boat and set up to run from my keychain?

pneumatic lifts for the dog house and/or back deck would be cool.

I don't know if you have a trolling motor, but I can imagine sitting at the bow already to fish and decide the motor should be raised. Would be nice to trim it up w/o having to walk back there.

These work off a remote. Pretty cool if you fish the flats.
