Re: boat ramp clip

I've seen the video before and it looks like it was done on purpose. The rear and front tie downs are left attached and the hitch pins don't just fall out. Also no chains attached to the hitch?

I agree, unless they're complete morons that couldn't happen... but it is funny!

Another case of "spot the brain cell" although it certainly does appear to be staged !!!!

I don't think Bill knew what was happening but the "truck driver" and crew staged it.

All Bill's bits are staged and have become a part of the legend. They really are quite funny. If you haven't seem the all, you must! I like the bow mount trolling motor coming off.

Re: boat ramp clip

I don't know if all of them are staged, actaully I am convinced most if not all of the ones I have seen are real events. They may have started as a prank, like someone removing the lynch pin from the receiver, but that is dangerous in every way so I do not think they would do that on purpose, too many other people could get hurt. He gets a fish hook in his foot in one show, a fish hook in his nose in another one. Most of the incidents look dangerous and are out in the open with no "safety net". I think that kind of stuff just happens to him, he is quite a character.

They are truly funny and they are also staged imo. Have you seen them all? How can so many fubr's happen to one guy? A guy who spends more time preparing and working at his craft then most of us ever will. The famous boat battery tape? Just watch. If he would have dropped the battery in the bottom of the boat like that it would have punched right through the hull. Instead, he held on and it carried him 4 feet from the dock. A classic bit.
Again, just my opinion. I think they are all staged, and he's so good, it's just hard to imagine they are fake.

How 'bout the one when he gets his line tangled in a tree on the shore, then a snake falls out of said tree right on top of him while he tries getting the line out of it. Still laughing...:)

Re: boat ramp clip

The snake in the boat clip reminds me of the time a friend I worked with went fishing at santee cooper with race car driver Tiny Lund. A snake fell into their boat and this guy grabs a shotgun they had with them just for snakes and then shoots a hole in the boat tryin to kill the snake. Tiny swore he would never go fishing with my friend again,, true story . Lund was killed in 75 at taladaga ala
