Just had to share a few pictures from my project.
Refurbed 1972 Trisonic. New floor, stringers, upholstery, gel coat, seating arrangement, etc.
Did all the work myself except I rebuilt the seats and had an upholstery shop cover them.
No major work to the motor required (GM 4 cylinder block), new water pump. She purrrs almost like new. Inside valve cover is clean no condensation. Top end with ski prop is 37 mph (on GPS unit)

Resealed stern drive unit.

Thanks to everyone at this site for their input.

I named her the Free Bee since the original was given to me to get it out of their way. After the refurbishing she is NOT free anymore. :)

Put about 2K in her and the trailer. With labor that would be about 10K, :) but it was a labor of love and something to keep me busy all winter.

Photo album is here:
photo album

New picture:
I looked at your rig, it looks great. Proof positive that you don't need a new boat that costs $20,000+....

Thanks! It was a fun job. At times just hard work (grinding all the old fiberglass out).
