Re: Boat-related entertainment??
I don't get it. I had one and absolutely zero pain, zero swelling, zero bleeding. Back to work the next day. Had it not been for the follow up "sample" (eeww), I wouldn't have thought they did anything at all. I recommend my Doc for all.
As far as the movies:
Captain Ron
Deep Blue Sea 2
Hunt for Red October
Das Boot
Pirates of the Carribbean
In Enemy Hands
U-571
The Perfect Storm
Crimson Tide
White Squall
Dead Calm
Ghost Ship
Granted...some of these may make you want to stay away from boats for a while.
Good choices! Many don't know White Squall and Dead Clam, and they're really, really good.
An interesting, non-boating choice. 'Zero Hour' made in the 50's starring Dana Andrews. It was the
serious inspiration for 'Airplane.' Same plot, same food poisoning, same emergency. And, Andrews' name in the movie is even 'Ted Striker', the fighter pilot with issues who has to take over and land the plane. You're gonna laugh at parts- they even have the kid 'Joey' visiting the cockpit. "Have you ever been in the cockpit of an airplane, Joey?" I swear- first words out of the pilot's mouth...
I stumbled on this one a year or so ago and nearly fell off the couch
(PS- I had the procedure done 30 years ago. No ill effects ever)
