I have been testing my boat now for a week and every time I go out to the lake something goes wrong.. This week was no exception. I was fishing in my boat on the lake late friday afternoon, when out in the distance I here this guy telling his date alittle about himself. Something about not being a mechnic-kind of person.. Anyway I see they are in a canoe.. I was fishing for bass and catfish , it was getting late, so I headed inland and the motor started misfiring. So I shut-er down by the 5mile zone and popped the top off to figure out "what the Hlll Now" was wrong.. So while I'm hanging my rear off the end of my boat trying fix the problem.. I figured out #1 wasn't firing and when I looked up here comes that canoe..I thought they would ask me if I needed a tow, which would of been funny considering they are rowing... The guy gets about 15 ft. to my boat and Asks "ARE YOU HAVING ENGINE TROUBLES?" I replied back trying not to throw my wrench at him, NOPE I'M JUST WAITING FOR 1 PISTON TO FIRE.. I'VE BEEN TALKING TO IT FOR 5 MINUTES AND NOTHING. GOT ANY SUGGESTIONS.. The guy and girl didn't say anything else and rowed off.. I made it back to the dock on #2 and back to my home.. I pulled the flywheel and cleaned the pionts and out I went the next day to get standed again. This time I sheared the flywheel key in half and had to row the rest of the way back.. I did however catch a 3 pound Bass while trolling by paddle back to the dock. So the day wasn't a complete loss. I need a Flywheel key for a 1985 force 50 hp 2 stroke.. Got one let me know.

Yeah...you should have talked the canoeist into towing you back. You would have caught more fish and they would have been tierd when you got back to the ramp!

The Salmon have been running quite good up the Sac. A few people in the area have done quite well. I missed my trip today and hope to go out tomorrow afternoon. I would like to get one big fish this year. I'm looking forward to coconut salmon this year.
