Does anyone From MI know where I can find a boat salvage yard or even online salvage? Im thinking I might be able to find some parts for my 35yr old project boat. Thanks
Checker Marine, the owner's name is Charlie Checker. The place is in Lasalle, MI near Monroe. He only deals with sterndrive boats, but be prepared that his prices are high, but I did get a decent price on two flame arresters. He does have a lot of parts though.
Yep, it's laniermarine.com. I've been there and they have a bunch of different kinds of boats sitting right there so I'm sure if you call them about a part it's a good chance they will have it. The only thing is I thought they were a bit pricey. I'd try craigslist and ebay first and then try them.
