So I am on the road (as usual) and had a very long past couple of days..
9 hour drive from Florida on Sunday to Hilton Head, seeing customers, in Charleston now and will be all over SC the next few days and if lucky will get home by midnight Friday...Have 2 days at home, Fathers Day BBQ..Then leave for Atlanta on Monday..Ok enough rambling..

So I get to my hotel in Charleston yesterday around 6PM...And it's amazing that just the sight of boats and water make ya feel good...This is what I get to see from my balcony right now...Kinda hate having to move on to my next stop..

Re: Boat Therapy

The wife and I took a minivacation to Wilmington Nc (on the coast) and had the same reaction.. "ahhhhhhhhhh". There is something about coastal peope AND the coast itself that makes me feel better. I think the water rots the stick up peoples'... and they become human again. We drove all over the place (possibly moving there) and only heard two bass thumping cars, got cut off once and saw blinker usage everywhere. It was almost the opposite of here. We had a fabulous time and can't wait to go back to look at some real estate and meet some more locals.

When we used to be able to afford vacations, we went out to Ocracoke Island and camped out at the national park that is there.

It was very relaxing.
