boat titles

hello, i'm new to the forum and am and avid boater and fisher, i've recently found an older 16ft alumakraft jon boat, for cheap, and it's in excellent shape, but no title. i was wondering how complicated it would be to get a title for it in kentucky. if anyone has any experience or info it would be much appreciated.

look on the transom for an i.d.# . you can get all your info at the dmv from that. or if it has never been registered you might be able to clam pond boat and work it that way---p.s. 80% of good Bourbon is out of Bards Town!
