And if you end up storing stuff in and under it, there goes your convenience.

Ain't that the truth. I have so much crap in front of my boat that I have to move to pull it out it's pathetic. Not to mention all the stuff I can't access when the boat is in the garage. I'm looking to get a shed for this very reason. Although I am on the constant lookout for a storage place for my boat somewhere between me and lake.

Move toys, angle boat. Put toys or other stuff under and on boat when not using. Wife said if the boat fits in garage with her car I can buy it Searay 185. She now pulls in the garage in an angle like boat. Get averything out of the way, put boat in and you will find space for everything else I'll bet. I really like keeping my boat in the garage, no weather damage, no winterize and ready to go year around.

My garage is just over 22.5' deep. With the boat straight in I don't think I would be able to close the door. I angle it and get about 6" to spare. I do not have a break away or removable tounge. The most that could possible give me is 2', but probably more like 18". I don't see any way you could make my 18' boat fit into a 19' garage without getting it in at a pretty good angle.

You need a break away or removable tonque. Thats the easy part to make happen. Good luck.

Measure, measure, measure. That is how you get a boat that will fit in your garage.

The big reason I have my boat, and not the one that?s two feet longer is mine fits in my garage (away from the weather and curious eyes). I must have made four or five trips to look, and measure it before dragging it home. Everything fits and I?m happier that way.

Very late to the game but would like to add my question. I'm looking to purchase a 16-17' bowrider, outboard, swivel tongue trailer. My garage is 19x19. Will it fit?
