I've had a super clean 12' Duranautic 12' V hull and a mint clean, only in the water 3 or 4 times, galvanized trailer which cost me $700 four years ago new.
I have a friend of another friend wanting to buy the combo, minus the the electric trolling motor I have for it. It also has two brand new 6.5" oars and oar locks, a brand new epoxy coated, fiberglass reinforced transom panel, no dents, no damage whatsoever.
My thinking is that this is worth every penny of $1400, to buy this set up new, the trailer is about the same money today, and the boat is upwards of $1500, plus the oars. This could pass for new and is garage kept. I only really keep it around as a means of exercise these days, I've got a larger boat for fishing as well.
Am I that far off in what I want for this boat? If not what is a fair price? I really wasn't looking to sell it but I could use the room in the garage and I do rarely use it these days. Although when the need arises for it, it would be sorely missed. I'm sure he could go buy a cheaper, non welded hull boat and a bottom line trailer but this is a welded hull Duranautic on a galvanized bunk trailer with winch strap, urethane bow stop roller, stainless steel tongue jack, and LED taillights.
I'm not looking to gouge anyone for it, but I don't want to sell something I may only end up re-purchasing at a later date.
