I've got a new to me 87 four winns sundowner 195. Trailer is not specific to the boat. Looks like a generic one from bass pro shop. I'm a first time boat owner, so this is all new to me. The winch bar has two rubber placement spots (see link for pictures) for the boat to rest on. My question is, should the winch be adjusted to be lower than it is? Every time I trailer it from the water, I have to lift the boat over the first (lower) boot out the eye on the boat will catch on it and not go further. If I need to adjust it ,which I am thinking I do, any tips on height? Just even with the eyelet on the boat? https://photos.app.goo.gl/KbGgviahBNXRF7yq6
