I have a 79 Ebko 16' trihull. 90hp Merc 900. and last spring when getting it ready, I discovered the floor and stringers were rotten. Rolled up my sleeves and got to work. Now it's over a year later, and way over my head.

Right now it sits with no floor and center stringer with one layer of glass. I honestly done know what the f* I am doing.

Anyways, in this condition, what do you think would be a reasonable asking price to sell as is. I am going to take a big loss, I know. But I want it outa here.

Thanks.

Re: boat value

Probably better off to sell the trailer and motor separately, and either junk the hull, or sell it real real cheap ($50).

I agree with roscoe, sell then motor and trailer seperate and use the hull as firewood ...

Re: boat value

pull everything off it. controls, guages, put them on ebay. last week i had a boat that was to be a project for my nephew. he decided he didn't want to do it. so about 3pm i pull it into the front yard. sign 'free boat only'. by 6pm i had an empty trailer. now i'm going to have an 18' utility trailer. i have sold more stuff on ebay that i was going to throw away .

Re: boat value

That's a thought. I could then use the trailer for my two canoes.

My kids are trying to talk me into finishing the boat. I want the boat, I just don't know how to finish it. I don't want it done wrong and have an unsafe boat.

Thanks for the replies.

Hey Macshak

If you go over to the "Boat Restoration and Building" forum, there is tons of advice there and lots of people willing to help with your project. Might want to at least post over there, tell them what you have and see what they think....
