Ive done alot of bank fishing and common sense should tell you when to retrieve your line because of an approaching boat. Some people obviously have no common sense. I had a guy toss a large castnet right infront of my moving boat as I approached on the side to unload folks at the NO Fishing boatramps dock. It's maybe 5' deep and he hung his net in the riprap bottom. I reversed causing someone to almost fall. I was mad enough to physically assault this guy, but he ran away after freeing/ripping his net while I moved my boat away for the next one behind me. There was a evedently a language barrier, but I think my point was made.
