Boat Weight Question

I have a 1990 Maxum 2100 sr with a 4.3 V6 21ft open bow.

I am looking to buy a boat lift but want to know the weight of the boat. I have tried google search but only find things newer then 2000.

I am assuming it is over 3000lbs.

obvious reply question coming.... can't you trailer it up and run it to a local scale? manufacturers specs could be way off by now.

That's an option. Just looking for an easier quick answer I guess

I know all the factory stuff will tell me the dry weight. That is all I need. I can drive to a local marine tonight and they can look it up for me. They looked up all the specs for me once before but I am an idiot for not writing them down.

If no one knows ill just check back with them.

For determining the capacity of a boat lif, you may use any listing for a Maxum(or other brand like SeaRay) 21 foot bowrider with a V6/V8 sterndrive motor. It will be close enough. Pick a lift with the capacity just above what the listing says. I would add about 20% and see what capacity that gives.

Hey thanks I will do that.

Unfortunalty seems like everyone selling used lifts have no clue what they are rated for. Everyone likes to say "lifted my boat just fine"

But that is a whole different issue.
