nah, but seriously....this kicker motor needs to push me at cocktails speed...... will I get any performance increase out of a aftermarket prop or not enough to make a difference or warrant the purchase?

Be happy where you are or go for a much larger kicker. Prop change will not do you good

sounds good to me. kicker motor will be used for emergencies and put-putting at lake powell unless it's too windy...I've yet to get her in the water.... but I was expecting / hoping for 4 knots

If your really going to be just putting you can stick with what you have.
If your going to push hard often then you may want to prop for close to the wot rpm
for the long term health of the motor.

no, I won't like to be over 1500rpms or whatever the motor seems to like without making too much noise.....but I haven't seen it perform so I really don't know what "cruise" is going to be....

Sounds like you want more speed. When your kicker is in the operational position, can you look under the hull from the bow and see all of the kicker's prop. If not, lowering it so that you can will put all of the prop in new water and improve your thrust.
