boat wouldn't start....

alright here's my stupid human trick happened last time i went out

so i rented a campsite for a night...we got to the beach early in the morning...tried out our new tube for a bit we were just about to do some cool/wild riding on this new tube and my little brother who was gonna give us the pull couldn't get the boat to start, it would crank but wouldn't fire. Eventually i found the safety clip was a bit pulled out so ipushed it back into place but it didn't solve the problem.

So i tried couldn't get it, crap we are out in the middle of the lake on a tuesday with barely any boats out. Luckily one of my other brothers stayed on the shore so i gave him a call and asked him to find a boat and see if we could get a pull in.

10 min later we got a pull in, got the boat back to the campsite, pulled a plug wire and tried to arc it against the exhaust manifold. nothin. then i decided to push that little safety switch in real hard and crank it over...boom it started! I put some tape under the clip and we went back out and finished our day

thanks guys! we are glad we got to have fun the rest of the vacation to!

We are leaving tommorow for a 4 day 3 night vacation so we'll see what happens this time!

can't not enjoy camping and boating! hopefully i can buy a kneeboard and another tube + patch kit today... isn't the water pretty cold up there?? It's even a bit cold here, we usually wont go in the water till mid day lol

Just went up to the area we are going to camp and boat on next week. Looks great. 5 days and 4 nights....... The Wellcraft and the New Jayco Hybrid Trailer!! Wish I could leave even sooner now!!

Where you from rowlex? I live in minnesota and the water is plenty warm here. Belle River Ontario is further south than I am.

really?? ontario? I thought that was in canada....

im from everett washington, couple hundred miles from the canadian border

BTW. We had a GREAT time on our vacation, at one point I helped a lady and her kids fix her sea-doo, and then she was nice enough to let me ride it...BOY are those things fun! My arms/legs are killing me, and the wakeboarding/kneeboard/tubing wrecked everyone's body's. We didnt even launch the boat the last day! Just sat on the beach
