Boaters to Bahamas Summer 2012

Hi everyone.
We are looking at taking our boat on vacation to the Bahamas and are looking for some groups or organizations that we can go with. We have a 27' weekender, so we know we are good to go as far as size goes. We just don't want to go over for the first time by ourselves. Anyone have any suggestions or websites they can point me to?

Where in the Bahamas, Tony? There are several boats around me that do it frequently, We are going to Grand Bahama fishing in the next couple weeks.

We are looking at doing Bimini this first time. We live up in Palm Coast and would trailer down to Lauderdale we think. We are thinking sometime in June or July on the trip.

Sorry, tony, I don't know many boaters in Lauderdale anymore. It is a short run to Bimini. I've traveled all over The Bahamas many times. but only been there once. How many days are you expecting to remain in Bimini? The ride there can be rough, due to tradewinds. The ride back is better.
