Purchased 2 seats, total of $209.98 used a gift card brought the total to $157.00 I used my debit card.

Next day I have 2 charges, $209 and $157. I call, they tell me it will be fixed. They refunded my money to my checking, the next day it was charged again.

This has gone on for 2 weeks now, I went through the local Portland Maine store, then I called the district manager, he was of no help, called the regional manager who offered me a $20 gift card for my troubles and said he would look into it.

This is unreal, keep your money away from boaters world. I have bills to pay, and they are very lucky I didnt bounce any checks due to their charge.

Am I out of line to be totally ripped about this? I am losing my mind trying to deal with these clowns, I want my $210 and I want it now!

Is it a big bank? Are you talking to the same person each time? I'd find a person and say, "Okay, this is in your ballpark, run with it." Then I would keep on that one person.

The reason I say that is because it is to easy to pass a person off just for the moment knowing you will never hear from him/her again.

Oh. It makes me wonder too if a person giving a name over the phone is the person's real name or a code of some sort. I guess I am too synical from being bounced around so many times.

They said to let them know if I wanted to put a complaint against them and get my money back that way. I got my money this morning back in my account, we shall see if they take it back.

I got a nice phone call from customer service, they said they were sorry and offered me a $20 gift card to make it all better. I said I have more in long distance bills due to this event, thanks for the slap in the face!
