I found a good deal online for a Pertronix ignition system. Got it Saturday...put it in the boat(and by that I mean on the seat) and thought of how it'll be nice to get rid of the hard water which I was driving a sled on today. As much as I love snowmobiling...St Pats day is too late to be sledding.

as of 5am local time it is 28 deg., todays forcast, steady temps, high of 34 with snow and rain mix. Tonight a low of 14.

Still making ice and supposed to be cold all week. Normal high temp is supposed to be 44 and normal low of 28. Enough all ready! I really need some sunshine and warmer temps. Then maybe I can break this head and chest cold that I've been fighting for 3 weeks already.

GGGGrrrrrrrrr, 9:30am it's snowing AGAIN.

I wonder if that's the storm that's heading our way. They're calling for 4" of snow tonight and another 1" tomorrow. 32' & 36'f, it's going to be wet and heavy. Probably plug up the snow blower! Oh well, spring officially arrives in two days.

In that same vain...I love how the little critters leave a rainbow behind(with the right lighting)when vaporized(you know what I mean) by a square shot with a hollow point .243 bullet pushing 4100FPS...Lol!

We've got open water and a winter storm watch for tomorrow! It was easer to take not having the boat in the water when it was all ice and snow.

I lived most of my life in NW PA. After a bitter winter 13 years ago it was decided enough tome had been spent behind a snow blower. Now on the SE NC coast I fish all year. Never ice on the water, no reason to own a snow shovel.

I feel for you northern guys. I would go crazy. We just had a little spring cold snap but by this weekend we are looking at the high 80s! Heck south texas saw 108 on Monday, and Dallas was in the low 80s!
