I went out fishing on the lake and was board from not catching anything for about 4 hours of trying every lurer in my box of tricks down to the liquid bait.. So I turned to the live worms and tried to catch some blue gill. At least I can say I had a fight with something. After about 10 small fish and the last one was smaller than the hook i was using. I gave up and slowly went back to shore.. Well for ****s and giggles I put a worm and a bobber about 3ft down and trolled out about 20 feet from the boat.. It was kind of funny to watch this worm doing the back stroke on top of the water and it hitting mid air..I felt like I was Red neck fishing. Well as I rounded a nice little cove, that is when I almost lost my pole.. I caught my pole as it lifted straight out of the seat and I cut the motor at the sametime. This stupid fish jumped out of the water right when I gave it a yank to set the hook. Hit the side of the motor with a loud thud and took off.. It took me about 5 minutes to get in.. As I was weighing the 8lb'er I almost lost it as I tedered it on my finger to get on the metal stringer. I almost fell out , tripping over my front seat as the fish flew to the windshield of the boat, by this time I'm screaming ,"Oh **** and other sailor words that came out of my mouth", at it crawling around trying to get a good hard grip.. When I finally got it I looked up to see 3 guys in a bass tracker just laughing at me.Nope I Got'er done.. I got the last laugh, becuase they were out since 6am and didn't catch a thing. It was kind of hard to tell them how I was able to catch this Bass. Concidering bobber trolling isn't a proper way to fish..<br />It's touch being a girl but the fishing is fun. That would be the 4th bass I have caught on a bobber in 2 years.
