I have a 1987 50hp force it runs good for about 100yds then it slowly dies down and stopps runing any ideas on this trouble to solve it thanks .

Is the vent on your fuel tank open?

Come on, we need more info. Does it start right up again? Do you need to re-prime it? Do you need to wait a while before it will restart? etc. etc. etc.

Can the starter turn it over when it quits?Is it pumping water.
Will it stay running if you squeeze the primer bulb?
What do you have to do to restart it?
